Happy Boxing Day.
It is Historically and Biblically incorrect that the origin of Christmas is not christain in nature or that it is idolatrous. As a matter of fact it is far from that. From the bible in Luke 2:10-15 and 20
10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not:for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
14 Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace,
good will toward men.
15 And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.
20 And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.
Luke 2:10-15,20 (KJV)
That was the first ever christmas celebration in History, and it was celebrated by the angels and God himself! (V.13). It is almost demonic to say christmas celebration is not biblical, because God and the angels celebrated Jesus's birthday before any of us were born!
Over the years the actual date that Jesus was born has undoubtedly been lost through the halls of time, but it does not mean we should neglect so great a birth. True Christmas celebration is for those who heard the news that Jesus was indeed born, believe that news and tell that news.
The celebration of Jesus is a celebration of christmas, it is the celebration of peace, and good will to all men. Every time you avoid celebrating Christmas you rubbish the authenticity of your salvation and the integrity and dignity of God!
And what is the best way to celebrate Jesus through christmas is to show some love. Even if you can't give someone something, give them a mention on social media, send them a nice picture, send a message to someone telling him or her in great detail how important they are to you, and am not talking about just your family or boyfriend or girlfriend.
I love this article! Keep fighting the good fight bro!!
